Having trauma from parents and good parents. is there privilege when they have traumatized their kid and are still good parents? I question it almost every day, its complex

Hot take but we should have to acknowledge the privilege of having good parents. It should not be a privilege for parents to do the bare minimum, I feel like that normalizes bad parenting?

what about trauma from “okay” parents who never tried to be objectively cruel but still purposefully mistreated their child?
