I don’t know how to reach out for help with SI when I cant say im having those thoughts. People panic, which is never helpful. I dont want to have these thoughts. How am i supposed to get the right support when i cant be fully honest.

This is in relation to outside support. Not my therapist or psychiatrist, who I do talk to about these thoughts. But it’s unrealistic to rely on them as my only supports.

Honestly very relatable. I’m too scared to even mention the thoughts I’ve been having to my therapist because I’m too scared she’ll have me comitted

I think it’s important to remind people not to panic! Set boundaries about what a helpful response would not be. A lot of people have these thoughts. A lot of people do get better. That comes with support and understanding! It’s ok to preface with that i guess is what i’m saying? Also im so sorry you’re feeling this way. I know it’s awful and it won’t always be awful 🫂🫂🫂

In my experience you will not be sent to the hospital unless you say that you have a plan and intent to act on it. If there is no intent, they usually want to start seeing me on a more weekly basis
