Is there a way to know if I’m being lazy vs having an anxiety/depression episode?

is the inaction coming from a place of physical problems? examples: tired, hungry, indifferent, dehydrated. if so, try to treat your better and take the necessary steps to feel better. or is it coming from a place of emotion? examples: has there been something that has been bothering you lately? who even cares, no one is even coming into my room/house, i don’t want to care for myself because i don’t feel like i am worthy of care atm? if you can’t figure where it comes from, my piece of advice..

Start with a small easy task. I wonder how much people are labeled as “lazy” when there are really dealing with something more. I would not label it w/o meeting with a professional. Just start doing little productive things and the sense of accomplishment fuel what needs to be done next.

would to start anyway! do things imperfectly it doesn’t matter, as long as you start. Inaction does this unfortunate thing of driving people into a spiral, no matter the situation (executive dysfunction or depression). you can do it!

It’s the second one, for the first time in years I almost skipped showing even though I felt discussed by myself. I ended up showering after an hour of fighting myself. I also had my first thoughts of suicide and it was so scary. I also didn’t tell my boyfriend like I used to. I think I’m pushing people away

My mom calls my older sister lazy so I did too (starting when I was 15-20) I didn’t u destined until I was diagnosed with depression and went through the same thing. I still feel like an ass for following my mom’s example. She also does it to my little sister. Does that make me a bad person or just uneducated?
