Lowkenuinly am I the only one who loathes radical acceptance and mindfulness? It just doesn’t work. Doesn’t alleviate symptoms. I’ve been doing it since I was a child atp.
Complete with you on that. It feels like gaslighting in many ways.

Right? And it’s not like I’m approaching it from the “I shouldn’t give a shit about my problems” mindset. I know that isn’t what radical acceptance is, but it’s just the way therapists use it. It doesn’t work for everyone and yet it’s all they suggest to me.
