I’ve just realized that my struggle to find my own sense of identity is likely due to my constant vicarious living through main characters in stories I consume. I’m not sure how to stop. Does anyone relate to this? Has anyone figured out how to stop?

I think also as a result, I have no dreams, no aspirations, all I want to do and all I feel I can do is sit on the couch and watch tv shows or movies or play video games or read. I want to want something from my life. Not to just exist passively. But I don’t know how

Not diagnosed… but I may or may not relate to some of the things I’ve seen people with bpd talk about experiencing due to their bpd……………………

I am diagnosed autistic and I know the two have a LOT of overlap and asd is often mistaken for bpd, though I also know they’re often comorbid so hhhhhhhhhhhhh
