
Dont let the list scare you. Remind yourself that you can just do what you’re capable of for the day. Nobody is forcing you to do more than your mind can handle. Take it a task at time, take a break and gauge how you feel. You’ll start noticing that you frel better when checking things off the list.
Something my mom told me is you just have to show up, and I promise I know that’s wayyyyy harder than it sounds trust me. You just have to show up for yourself and do the things on the list. As daunting as it is, and you might not do the best job at it, you may have to redo it later, but you showed up and you checked the box. The more you do, the more you show up, the more capable you’ll feel. And remember to be patient with yourself and reward yourself for it.
Also avoid trying to punish yourself for not getting it done, i used to say “I can’t eat till I do blah blah blah” or “I can’t do this thing till the other thing is done” for me it made it much harder because not only was I down on myself for not getting my “to do’s” done, but I was also preventing myself from meeting my own needs and doing the things I COULD do in the moment
