I think first… honoring the relationship by being real with your emotions in all ranges— happy, sad, angry, grateful, etc. Second, let it pass through you as you remember the memories. Cry. Laugh. Scream. All of it. Third, allow yourself to love yourself. Find something you love to do. Do it. Do something new. Explore. From the little things to the big things.
