I have back in high school. Mostly limerence. It took forever for me to get over them because it was puppy love. But I honestly let time heal then one day I moved on completely. Understand it’s not the end of the world and majority of the time we really like/ are infatuated with the person and not really love them

Hey friend! The two are vastly different feelings. One is longing for something you could have to the point of neglecting oneself, and the other feels like a vacuous hole, like you’ve been robbed of something you thought could never be taken. For the first, I suggest looking at some other angles. Recognize that the infatuation is fueled by a blindness to someone’s negatives. Take some time to look at the persons flaws, understand that nothing and nobody is perfect

For heartbreak, try to take some time to remember who you are (this one can be done for limerence as well). Figure out the things you want to do. If you can’t figure it out, make an active effort to keep off of social media and short-form content until you can start to figure out what you might enjoy doing. Remember your hobbies, your passions, everything that makes you you
