I was SAed and raped throughout my life and at my undergrad. Seeing what happened to Jane at Cornell and the amount of people who don't believe her breaks my heart because a lot of people didn't believe me either. I hate that people make excuses

She said herself in a sworn signed statement sent to the da that everything that happened was legal and consensual, then after her reputation changed across campus, she changed the whole story to say she was a victim.

“she was given more alcohol and pressured into snorting a substance described as ketamine, and was then sexually assaulted while "incapable of consent".” Yeah because when a blackout drunk girl says f me its definitely fully consensual. Dumbass. You never f someone when they snort ketamine, or when they drink to much, or treat her so inhumanely to invite literally any guy to come f her. 25 guys couldve. 50, he didnt care, he said ya come

She literally said that after she got pushback from people around her. She initially consented to everything. She can’t initially say that she consented to everything and then revoke that consent later. I think they’re all degenerates and they all should prolly go to prison, but you can’t punish the guys bc she was a slut. She initially consented to an orgy bc she found the first guy super attractive and then consented to multiple afterwards, and even asked to hang out with the same guy AGAIN.

You are a messed up person to think Jane did anything wrong here. There's nothing wrong with someone having sex with multiple people as long as it's consensual so I don't know why you'd judge people for that, but that is absolutely not what happened here. People can revoke consent at any point, and anyone who is not sober cannot consent. Continuing when someone is drunk or high makes them a rapist, which is what the Cornell rapists did with Jane

Also, a lot of people who experience SA or rape are not able to realize it at first either because of the stigma that victims experience when they go through it or because education around it isn't always accessible. It does not matter what happened after, it doesn't change the fact that what those guys did was rape, and for you to doubt what she went through due to that is really wrong
