I’ve never really spoken about this for real but it’s so crazy when you grow up being known for being v good at one thing and everyone thinks you’re gonna make it professionally but don’t. I grew up playing soccer and was the best everywhere I played …

Just cause of the way my parents were I never really fully committed to playing professionally the way I maybe should have. I played outside of school and got cool opportunities from it but it’s so hard when you get older and realise that you aren’t going to make it professionally in the one thing you really stood out in.

I feel very similarly. Not in the same boat regarding the sports stuff but I chose my major because it was the only thing I was good at and didn't feel like making me want to die. Now I'm graduated and ngl my degree feels useless

Now I’m 24. Just finished getting my masters and although on paper things might not look too bad I have no idea what I really want to do. Everything feels like such a task for me cause I don’t enjoy any of it. I just finished working an internship and have now been unemployed for about a month post grad. I just feel so unmotivated applying for stuff and feel like I made the wrong decisions and don’t know what I really wanna do with my life now.
