well yes. it's a good thing to rid the world of the silly individuals who cannot wrap their heads around there being 2 genders, you were born as one of them, and what you should be identifying as

The reason they have effective support systems and we don't is because they allowed themselves to be vulnerable and built themselves a support system where they care for each other. In contrast, men tend to close off their emotions because that's what society taught us though fear, so we don't usually produce the social conditions necessary for the kind of support we see women offer each other. If we all just support each other we create heaven on earth.

The parable of the long handled spoons is a very good way to understand this concept. Heaven and hell exist on earth under identical circumstances. Hell is the expression of greed and heaven is the expression of selflessness. When we care only for ourselves, we create hell on earth, and in contrast lifting each other up creates heaven on earth.

We hear this a lot in terms of material support but we rarely ever consider it relationally or psychologically. If apply this principle to our emotional intelligence, we will all benefit.

not a phobia. that implies fear. which is the opposite. a laughing stock if anything besides a genuine weirdo that lacks a brain. however intersex people is a fair point. the chance of them is <2% so when this comment said neither binary gender i was 98%+ positive that they weren't talking about intersex humans so 🤏🤏

I don't think this image implies any of that. You just took it very personally. It didn't say women are the cause, it merely says that masculine vulnerability is not heard or accepted as much as feminine vulnerability, which is true. Nothing about cause, just an observation.

Did u read the part where I said like we don’t care lol? Like we don’t gaf about men! Only reason I replied to this is because it showed up on the hot page lol and I was like wtf is this weird misogynistic bs lmao. im a girl, im depressed, and nah I haven’t been given the freedom to talk about my mental health like that lmao. If anything, my mental health has made it easier for men to sexualize and abuse me. I hate u fuckers and I hope that one day we won’t have to share the world with ur asses

It's not about being checked in on, it's about being heard when you speak on the subject of emotions. It's considered normal for women to have emotions, for men there's an unspoken standard that lingers in society and conditions men to suppress their own emotions AND each other's emotions. The first step to breaking down gender roles is acknowledging their impacts on everyone.

I'm talking about power structures. Things larger than your personal life experience. Patterns have exceptions and outliers, but exceptions don't mean the pattern is non existent.

Also doesn’t it literally say if a man rapes a woman then she should marry him? I don’t think scripture has ANY place dictating the rules of modern society.

no. actually it gives that as the only reason to divorce is any form of adultery, small or big, to not marry or be with that man at all

The reason it's so hard is because we are conditioned by fear. And that fear divides us because it narrows who we can trust, when what we really need is to show each other that we are trustworthy. That we are all parts of one whole; interconnected in entanglement.
