As a DC fan, I’ve been trying to get back into Marvel but honestly it’s so hard. I’m WAY behind on the MCU, and I’m honestly burnt out on it anyway. And it seems like that’s the only content Marvel makes. Like can we not get a good Marvel standalone film?

Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and Eternals are all MCU movies. Although Fantastic Four is semi standalone, it still is setting up for the future of the story to conclude while being integrated with the other MCU characters/stories. I just want a good Marvel movie that isn’t part of the MCU, and they don’t seem to have any interest in doing that anymore

so even if it’s completely self contained the fact that it could be weaved into the MCU makes you not want to watch it?
