No need to apologize- I get it- sorry I went all guns ablazing. Also FYI, “corporate negligence” is the term for that specific type of white collar crime that SI would be committing. For example manufacturing sites not following OSHA guidelines resulting in serious injury and death. It’s a regular and very sad reality that people’s lives are reduced to lines on a spreadsheet simply because it’s cheeper to pay of grieving family’s then pay for proper protocols to be enforced.

Also yes I know this is his fictional company. But Stan himself has commented that it’s meant to reflect modern day rules and realities- meaning that yes those things would most likely been true- especially for a company of his size- in that specific industry- with those yearly levels of profits. A sad truth is that in our current economic system- that if you actually followed all safety protocols and regulations- there is a 0% chance you would be able to get that rich.
