Yeah ;-; I just think that the uncreative “kill them off” method for every character is honestly to their detriment bc if they’re just given a valid off screen reason not to be there, whether that’s retirement or another mission, it opens up the option for them to return if they’re desperate enough for cameos to save their movies. There’s the potential for character arcs that don’t have to end in death, idk..

The killing off method isn’t even the issue cause they’re in their multiverse era now, they can just hire new actors if the old ones can’t come back for some reason.

No it’s not but people keep talking about it like there’s no way it doesn’t happen. So I’m not getting my hopes up for him surviving the movie. I’m just tired of watching him die :(
