Don’t forget the fact that Spinner literally began shaking Shigaraki saying that he wasn’t the same person he once knew. I rarely ship characters but I do believe they could’ve been together in another universe where they weren’t villains. I love tragic yaoi and yuri.

When AFO first took control, he just knew by Shigafo calling Spinner by his legal name and calling for a retreat (if MVA is any indication, Tomura doesn’t run while his friends are in trouble)

I think they’re a yaoi version of Toga and Uraraka. Because like Spinner, Uraraka tried to make a change and made a quirk counseling center for kids who couldn’t control their quirks so kids like Toga wouldn’t become villains. I love my tragic gay romances in MHA. Horikoshi gave me good food to eat while sobbing my eyes out and rolling on the ground.

Ever since the My Villain Academia arc came out and people started shipping them, they’ve been my fav but they were so not treated right by the fans because “ooo Shigdabi is cooler and Dabi is his right hand (which he rlly wasn’t)” it wasn’t until recently that Spinner and Tomura were given more recognition
