I’m not sure but I agree. When they did love island games last season I don’t think America could vote either. It’s not fair because obviously the country who can vote will go harder for the ppl from their country yk

I think it’s cause love island games is an extension of the US franchise and they all operate differently I think? but ya it’s stupid that other countries can’t vote for it I’m so confused

I think people said last season US couldn’t vote. I feel like it would be smart for them to have every country be able to vote then more people would watch it because they wanna watch their country.

AGREED!! 😭 apparently it’s cause of licensing reasons bc the votes determine who gets the 100K at the end so there’s a lot of legal stuff involved and since peacock wanted all the rights to the season so they can profit off of the viewership and the logistics are easier for them if it was just the same as the previous LI season 😭
