it is. most of their voters don’t even watch the damn show. they on twitter talking about recruiting more people. it’s very pathetic. peacock better do something about this because it’s not organic.
atp i’m convinced 90% of the kierra fans are men who are only even watching the show because of kalshi

coming from the same group that’s been villainizing and degrading black women. and yall wonder why we say black women are the least protected

They arent the least protected. The black women on the show are praised more than anyone while its the complete opposite for the black men

because love island represents black womens’ realities in the real world. very logical take

Yes bc real world ppl are the ones watching and supporting the show so the public’s view on them is representative of the public’s view on black women and men as a whole. The same way yall demonize KC for doing as much or even less than the other ppl is the same way black men are demonized in real life

i'm glad kc apologized for his actions and i'm not angry towards him anymore, but his fan base is horrible. you're honestly proving my point because you're more concerned about fans being mad when kc himself admitted he was wrong in the way he moved, than the racist things people have said about aniya

He apologized to keep the peace, which was v mature of him. But notice how yall are only angry at KC. No one has this energy for the girls disrespectful comments. If yall truly dislike disrespect, KC wasnt even the most disrespectful person there so the fact that yall are focused on only the black mans comments is v strange

she’s honestly been getting dogged online since the season started and i haven’t seen many male viewers speak against it. how is that protection? and the support you’re speaking about aniya and trinity getting have mainly been from women, it’s the men that have been attacking them the most

Not nearly to the level of the KC hate tho. I have barely seen aniya and trinity hate. While everyone got some hate online, the hate towards aniya and trinity was not disproportional to the other islanders like the KC hate was

And next season, the public will choose another black man to hate. We see it every year

who said i’m angry at kc? i literally just said i’m not angry towards him anymore because he apologized and owned up. that’s literally all we wanted. you obviously aren’t keeping up because a lot of the hate has been redirected to sincere and zach. stop trying to victimize black men while also excusing the way many have talked shit about black women this season

i've seen a lot of hate and even racist comments especially towards aniya, specifically from the kc defender group which unsurprisingly is comprised mostly of men

Im not saying UR angry at KC, im saying the hate online was disproportionately against KC. Way more than the other islanders. And there was no period in time where the hate was mostly for aniya and trinity like it was KC so its not the same like at all

In this situation and continuously, black men ARE the victim tho

and a lot of the hate has dissipated now that he’s apologized and owned up. like i said, people are a lot more focused on sincere and zach now. the reason kc was getting a lot of hate is because some of the stuff he was saying sounded like manosphere stuff, not because he’s black

And ive seen hate for kenzie, kayda, zach, corbin, and all the other islanders. The point is the hate was disproportional towards KC to where it was rlly bad. The aniya hate isnt anywhere near as comparable to the KC hate and we both know this

It is bc hes black. What did he say specifically that was comparable to being called a “bitch” a “little boy” a “fucking loser” a “piece of shit” a “fucking coward”. The black man said “grandma” and the other ppl said those things and the public viewed grandma as worse? We both know if bitch, little girl, fucking loser, piece of shit, and fucking coward came out of KCs mouth, yall wouldnt be okay with it

for a show of mostly women viewers, no one wants to hear misogynistic or manospheric things like degrading a woman for not getting physical with you, how much “power” you have around a different group of girls, or wanting a girl to suffer or not be happy. or snide comments like “stupid ass b*tch” towards other women. it gives off very bad energy so ofc people were disgusted before he owned up to it and changed how he talked

he did in fact call kenzie and melanie stupid ass b*tches. and honestly if someone was being a coward and kc rightfully called them out on it, i’d be okay with it. there’s no reason for men to call women bitches, it’s a derogatory term against women for at least decades now. idk why you need to be educated on that
