It’s not cool. People aren’t obligated to have sex and shouldn’t be deemed “grandmas” or “prudes” for not wanting to sleep with people, man or woman. It’s a form of shaming.

Also the insinuation that he’s going to start exploring other people if she doesn’t give it up is weird asf

But people also aren’t obligated to be celibate either. I mean like yeah you can say it’s shaming but I feel like joking w ur girls abt shit like that is literally just human nature

My take on tha is if he wants it that bad then they aren’t comparable and exploring is the obvious choice??

Yeah, nah... people aren't obligated in either direction (it's a choice), but you shouldn't shame people for their sexual choices in either directions. By making jokes like that and shaming, it comes off as ridiculing and pushing/shaming someone away from their choices or decisions. Of course, KC didn't say it to her face but we hear her express to Mel that she told him she doesn't want to have sex. She shouldn't be teased for that and you shouldn't tease others for that. It's weird.

It is but he isn’t doing that, is he? He’s sticking with her, building resentment, and not being honest. If he doesn’t like that she doesn’t want to have sex, he’s well within his right and find someone compatible. He’s not well within his right to joke about her choices with his friend and use prude-shaming language.

I guess we all have our own opinions

I mean I’d resent her too if I was constantly reassuring her and showering her w affection and she kept having issues like yeah that would turn me off since clearly nothing he does will convince her and they don’t seem compatible. Honestly I think the reason he hasn’t pulled SOL more is I’m pretty sure he likes darkskinned women. If they send in a darkskin bombshell I’d be interested in seeing what he does then

It’s still a weird thing to say. If you don’t feel like you’re sexually compatible with someone then find someone else, but you don’t have to make it seem like a bad thing when yall just move at different paces

I don’t think they are compatible. He can have problems with feeling like he has to constantly reassure her and it not ever feeling like enough. I understand frustrations in that regard, but in terms of sex, yeah no. He has no right. You don’t get to shame her choices or be mad at because she doesn’t want to have sex with you on week 2 of love island. I hope they separate and explore because they seem to be bringing the worst out of each other.
