Melanie had a valid point. Sincere went from being lovey-dovey, and going so strong about her to pulling someone for a chat. He was prior implying that he wasn’t interested in anyone else or that they should “close off”, which is ridiculous but regardless, he kind of was pushing it like that - head over heels. Then suddenly, he doesn’t talk to her all day and pulls the girl he implied she didn’t have to worry about for a chat. That’s weird and suspicious behavior.
Sincere is well within his rights to explore, but Sincere is also a bit shady and shifty with how he moves. He has spent the last two days making it seem to both her and the villa like he found his soulmate and almost acting like he was closed off to anyone else. Then, Kayda comes in and he ignores Melanie all day. It’s like he falls in and out easily. It’s suspicious. It also goes with his red flag of texting other girls while in relationships.
Melanie lost me with how she went about it. She self sabotaged a bit and blew it up bigger than it needed. Him talking to someone, regardless if he didn’t tell her he would, shouldn’t have her acting like this. It’s day 3. I think she got in her head and then compounding it with the red flag from the game, she became angry, avoidant, extra suspicious, and shut off from the relationship. She clearly has trust issues that affect her present.
I also hate how she was being petty towards Kayda, who doesn’t like him. Now, she might have gotten the name wrong on accident, she did just meet her, but I’m still weary of how she is going about it. The interrogating her was ridiculous and how would she have reacted if there was a “flow” from Kayda’s side? It’s day three, she needs to realize that. The only person she should be mad at is Sincere and even then… dial it back.
For sure! I think where I raise an eyebrow is with how he just seemingly dropped her all day and then didn’t tell her about pulling Kayda. It’s a bit suspicious and I understand Melanie’s feelings being hurt. I don’t like how she went about it regardless, because you’re right, it’s day 3!
