Like even before Season 6 blew up, one if the main reasons people even bothered watching the USA version was because the cast was so much diverse compared to the UK and poc went almost wheats the first ones to leave.

Not only were they always the first ones to leave, the way they even spoke to them was diabolical and the constant micro aggressions made towards POC contestants made me quit watching. I believe that’s why US beats them in ratings and viewership.

And US casting actually tries to find people who have diverse dating/romantic history as well. Every season in the UK we have to watch the guys go “my ideal type is blonde hair and blue eyes” and the woc (specifically the black woman) are expected to find someone amongst them.

And openly maga vs saying a slur are not the same thing. They may not be able to not cast MAGA ppl due to discriminatory reasons, but they 100% can and will remove those who have said slurs due to it being a liability
