Explain pls how having nothing in common with someone equals that she was a safe option and that he never really liked her. When Aniya had sincere and Sean above him, and ultimately ended up staying with KC bc neither pursued her. Also, I’m confused on where the use of the word obnoxious applies, bc looking back at their serious conversations, he was actually pretty receptive and serious with her.

So then OP was right lol. Ppl are applying their dating history with men to their situation. I’m still not sure where the obnoxious behavior has been seen at. And using someone as their safe option 9/10 means that the person doesn’t actually like them and is just keeping them around. Which doesn’t really make sense to me bc if that was the case he would’ve been all over Sol but he was acting hesitant.

I also think that using safe option to describe them makes no sense since the entire premise of the show is to find your strongest connection. I don’t think it’s wrong of him to stick with Aniya since that was his strongest connection. Him exploring doesn’t suddenly mean that he was using her
