also the same slippery slope “if we allow same gender marriage, then ppl will marry their cousins and animals” like no, incest and bestiality does not logically follow??? straight ppl, however, do engage in that

Yeah but trans people are now at the forefront at the culture war. Trans people were lesser known in the 70s by the general public.
