
like the painting thing in particular bothered me, apart from the obvious fetish content. trans artists are more than capable of making art unrelated to being trans. i get the idea of making her a naïve eccentric artist, but why is the focus on her transness when it was just a side plot before?
i actually liked her story until s3! it’s not super unrealistic. young trans people, especially trans women, often do find themselves in dangerous sexual situations. i thought they portrayed her being fetishized quite well, i just had expected them to also show her healing and growing from it.
