Has anyone else had really bad dry mouth on spiro? I spoke to my doctor but he said it was normal and I wasn't drinking enough water, but I swear I have been

You’re going to need to be more hydrated than you otherwise think you would need to be, that is true. It’s a pretty strong diuretic. Try adding in non-potassium electrolytes or vitamins/supplements to help, too. Avoid excess potassium, though, to avoid hyperkalemia as spiro works to preserve potassium levels. Splitting your dosage throughout the day may help as well, if you’re not already. If it keeps up, you may want to see about lowering your dosage if you’re on a higher dose.

there might be other things like having your mouth open while sleeping that can dry out your mouth on top of that

I've been drinking so much water I'm actually overhydrating and still having dry mouth, which is why I've been worried
