So where is the line between my trans friend just experiencing femininity for the first time and her being blatantly sexist? Some of the stuff she says and does makes me really uncomfortable but I also understand it’s new and exciting to her

For context it’s things like kinda sexual jokes to me and asking kinda invasive questions lot, I am genuinely asking because I don’t want to take it the wrong way but I’m also just generally uncomfortable with sexual topics and she is aware of that

this got downvoted instantly but it is a real problem. I’m cis so i’m not going to try to speak for trans people but I have had multiple trans friends express this to me about their peers. I know it’s uncomfortable, but I would confront her. She might (and probably isn’t) not be doing it on purpose and have no idea that it’s inappropriate. If she’s a good friend, she will listen and understand.

Trans person here. Nothing wrong with calling her out and asking her to stop. Being trans isn’t an excuse for being sexist or making you uncomfortable.

Also cis women have internalized misogyny so I’d never expect a trans woman who was also raised in our patriarchal society to not also suffer from it a bit. It’s just if a cis woman said this stuff to me I’d be so uncomfortable but i understand it’s coming from a different place? If that makes sense?

Thank you, I didn’t really know where else to ask because I really want to make sure I’m not hurting her but she’s been kinda hurting me on accident. I really want to be there for her on this journey but I probably do need to talk to her before this feeling turns into resentment
