Help someone said my super short haircut makes me look MORE feminine 😭 how is that even possible!??
As a somewhat gender nonconforming woman I feel like my hair grew too long too quickly & it makes me look hyperfeminine & I fucking hate it 🫠. I haven’t had a short haircut in over a yr so I’ll be getting my hair cut short in 2 days . I CANNOT wait.

It’s about the shape! Pixie vs crew vs bowl ya know. I recommend seeing a stylist who typically does men’s cuts and picking from what their photos, explicitly say that you don’t want it to lean feminine

Felt. I’m agender but feminine presenting. I love my long hair but wish I could wear it in the same way a man does. It’s just not the same 😔

Tbh I recommend one who often does queer haircuts. Check strandsfortrans website. A cishet non-allied stylist who usually cuts men’s hair will see an afab nb and give them an un-practiced pixie cut instead of a decent masc cut If you go to a vegetarian and ask for a burger, you’re going to get a veggie burger

I think a better analogy would actually be if you’re a vegetarian then you need to find someone who makes veggie burgers. If you go to any restaurant and order a burger, they’ll assume you mean a hamburger. If you tell them you want a veggie burger, they’ll do their best to make you a veggie burger with the skills and supplies they have, but…

That’s fair, im not trans myself so i cant speak to that personally, ive just heard that from others. Thats great that theres a website resource to find people who specialize in that!
