It took a good 6 weeks. Not because of pain, that went away within the first 2 days, but because I became so tired. First week was fine, and then bam! Bedridden and asleep most of the day. But I was also twice your age, so there’s that. It’s so worth it, tho! Cramps gone and bleeding done! Good luck on yours!!!

Like after 6 weeks were you back to normal? Like able to run and walk normally? Any lasting pain?

Yeah! There was no pain after the 2nd or 3rd day. I did need to stay overnight because they couldn’t control the pain right after the surgery, but I was so sedated that I don’t remember it. Hubby was the one dealing with that. No lasting pain. Once in a blue moon I’ll get a mini-cramp, but nothing at all like the punch-the-air-out-double-over I used to get, just very faint and fast contraction and done. No bleeding—- there was a bit if vaginal bleeding right after, but it was more like spotting

No bleeding from the laparoscopy holes. I just have small scars.

After the surgery, it took about 2 weeks to walk and move normally, it was just the being SO FUCKING TIRED that took me out. Feel free to DM me if you wish. It will be fine, and you will feel GREAT after the tiredness goes away

Also, if it’s an option, make sure they do not remove your ovaries. You need the hormones released by them, and it’s better to have them IF that’s an option
