I go to OU, i hope it’s at least some solace that ppl here haaaaate essay girl and we know it’s a grift. Also mel was the only TA, the other person who graded the essay was the professor — just clarifying, not denying that it’s disgusting mel got removed

When I was a TA for a history class, I had students like this who talked about me like meat in the groupme because i had a lesbian sticker on my laptop. They threatened to kill me when i failed them. I think i just got lucky because i didn’t grade any political writing assignments, but they absolutely would’ve claimed discrimination if i had. I hate the US.

The graduate student congress (i think — one of those kinds of student orgs) fought the admin tooth and nail about it, but lost because the admin is ass. There was two or three marches on the soval in protest of mel’s removal to the point essay girl said she was ‘scared’ to be on campus (good!!)

She’s “scared” to face the consequences of being a bigoted c***. Honestly she should drop out, if she’s actually aimed to be a phycologist she’s going to be a shit one of she can’t separate religion from academia

Im not in the same major as her or any adjacent ones that would have us sharing classes, but i’ve heard rumors going both ways that she did or didnt drop out so frankly i hope she dropped.

Her essay was also graded by a second graduate teaching assistant after the 0 was appealed (also failed her essay, idk if it was a straight zero though). That TA was removed from the class. At least every article about it referred to the second instructor as a graduate TA
