Thank you, she is a new therapist. I do believe she’s gay/has a wife. I do not have trans friends, and have already admitted to not really having friends.

ah yeah I meant moreso as mentioning a fake friend or saying a cis friend was trans in a story but yeah, if she has a wife then she should be safe (generally). good luck, I hope she’s a good person to talk with about it even if it’s not her specialty

fuck your family man, you deserve way better. i know you don’t want to lose them but it would probably be for the best if you let them go (unless you’re still financially dependent on them). if they’re can’t accept who you are because of their idiotic views then you don’t need to accept them as your family, they never will be. you’ll just hurt yourself trying to please them

Update: I called the local crisis hotline and told them to pass. The message, I met with her today and we discussed more of this topic. I nearly made her cry talking about how my family treated me in the past. She supports me and tells me she will never judge me
