I don’t think that’s what they’re really talking about. They’re talking about the girls who are like “I love women teehee but I’d never marry/have sex with one” but they would with guys

A biromantic heterosexual girl or a bi girl with a heavy preference for men? And why do you point out girls specifically?

Nobody talking about asexuals or aromatics mind you. I’m talking about people who do not have attraction, romantic or sexual, to their gender for example. But they insisted on calling themselves bisexual knowing they just have eyes and don’t think their gender is repulsive so it counts as something when it is not tangible and will never be actualized.

do you take issue with people who say they’re effectively straight/gay but are in reality bi with a heavy preference?

Great! That’s not what the split attraction model is in slightest.

The split attraction model is about people who fall on the asexual and aromantic spectrums

No guy is like “oh I have such a man crush but I’d never have sex with or marry a guy”. It’s only girls who say that for idk what reason but as a lesbian I hear that shit all the time from straight girls🤦🏻‍♀️🫥

I’m a bisexual heteromantic guy. I would never marry another guy, but I experience sexual attraction to them

Plus a completely straight girl has nothing to do with the split attraction model. That’s just a straight girl

Okay then you’re not a problem?? Idk what you’re trying to argue. The person was just commenting on an issue that uses the split attraction model in a toxic way to claim they’re part of the community

You said you’d never heard a guy say that. That person said that they’re tired of the split attraction model and these “fake bisexuals”. They did not say anything about a few people appropriating it.

You literally said you experience sexual attraction to men, my example doesn’t apply to you. And yes the fake bisexuals he’s referring to are the ones appropriating it. No one’s going after bisexuals who have the attraction but don’t act on it as often. The aroace spectrum is a spectrum for a reason, no one is denying that some experience more romantic/sexual attraction than others. We’re talking about those (girls in particular) who have NO sexual/romantic attraction to the same sex
