give them a chance, judging others by stereotypes is exactly how we are often affected by homophobia! however, if they start to make you feel unsafe, PLEASE request a transfer. your school shouldnt give you too much trouble

Most likely they won’t care, they probably understand this is America and more liberal than the country they left
