“Choice” is just an argument used by (insert whatever)phobes to imply you can just “choose” not to be who you are

If I had to get philosophical about it I’d say the orientation is just what we’re attracted to and the choice is which label we choose to describe that attraction Like being attracted to women could make you straight, bi, lesbian, sapphic, or pan but you choose your label based on what fits you best

something like i have feelings towards someone of the same sex -> idk if i want to date them -> actually im gonna date someone of the opposite sex because i want to, and still accept that my feelings towards the same sex are real!

Ok so I guess then your orientation is who you’re attracted to, like the gender(s) you like, and “choice” is who you choose to be with? is that what you’re getting at?
