Two days ago my friend asked if I'm into him and when i said "what no" he told me "sorry i was joking to lighten the mood. Yesterday he attempted to cuddle during my panic attack (is that common practice?) Rily not sure how to feel here. (both guys)

he either wants you or thinks you want him and is being weird about it

Absolutely crazy behavior either way (of him having feelings or think you have feelings) to being told no and then still making moves to get closer and be somewhat flirty… especially in such a vulnerable moment… so for the sake of wanting you to have a good friend I really hope it was just comfort and nothing more because I’d be concerned about his motives otherwise

yea that’s what my friend said. the cuddle was a him laying on his back and pulling me on top of him cuddle. i tried to reason with myself and say he was just attempting to make me feel better but man….

if it made you uncomfortable, you should definitely tell him so. if he WAS just trying to make you feel better, he'd want to know not to do that. if he's trying to initiate things with you, it would be good to tell him you're not interested to stop him from trying again.

he also rubbed my back, traced my arms and hugged me a lot that night. so deep down i believe he was just trying to comfort me. i’d hate to make a weird conversation out of nothing. but the whole night was just so… off

i agree with #2 u gotta clarify what’s happening between you two. if it’s nothing, it’ll be no more than a repeat of the “are you into me” joke thing, and if it is something, then you prevent accidentally implying you reciprocate by going along with it

i know and that’s how i would’ve taken them if it was a normal situation but i was having a panic attack, so im trying not to give them weight. It seems like tho regardless everyone believes it was more than just him trying to comfort me
