what difference does it make? all your asking is what’s in someone’s pants and that doesn’t define them in any way so why even ask?

I explained in the other post comments and made a seperate post addressing confusion. I’m not asking what someone has. Summary: I was questioning my own identity so I did research. A couple articles said more Enbies are AFAB than AMAB. I came to the LGBTQ+ community asking to see if that trend was prevalent even here. I wasn’t trying to be rude or invasive, my apologies

for future ref, trans fem/masc language has a better connotation than AGAB language bc it focuses on what we are and not what we were. (e.g. are there more trans masc NBs here? v.s. are there more AFAB NBs here?) AGAB language also tends to be a dogwhistle for those who are weird abt trans people, just for future ref :p

This may sound clueless but what is the difference between a trans masc and a trans man? Is a trans masc just a masculine nonbinary? Why the distinction between that and trans man? Also thank you, I want to learn how to be more inclusive in my terminology. Apologies if it was outdated

I thought it would be unnecessary since it was a minor question. Looking back I see how context would have helped. Thank you! Also I don’t know how long the post would’ve been and if the word count would have contained the background info like in the comments

it’s alright, learning is a process :) - trans masc: anyone who transitions to a more masculine gender (aka trans men and AFAB NBs) - trans man: anyone who transitions into a man (more specific, falls under trans masc umbrella)
