All I'm saying is I got 2 STIs (one being hpv that causes CANCER) when was exclusively with women and I haven't gotten one from a man because condoms are easy and there's not really an equivalent in lesbian sex. Be safe out there
"Lesbian sex is safe sex" yeah you bitches are why I had chlamydia that one time lmao it is NOT safe sex. Go get tested! You're just spreading shit asymptomatically because you think you can't get it unless you're with a man

Dental dams, gloves and finger covers need to be more normalized imo.. it can be made fun! Just gotta be communicative and creative ☆

Yes thats why its important to get tested with every new partner and clean your toys after use (/or potentially put a condom on said toy for hookups), ik its easier said than done but

also not to minimize HPV, it is serious, but just for public awareness it can cause cancer but it is not guaranteed to (as opposed to HIV/AIDS). HPV is the most common STI and it’s approximated at anywhere between 50% and 90% of adults will contract it at some point in their lives. there are different types of HPV and you can get vaccinated for it / the diff types

There actually is equivalent condoms for afab folks. Our Queer Resource Center calls them Internal Condoms. They are the same as “female” condoms but we just changed the name to be more inclusive for trans/nonbinary folks.

Thx for this knowledge. I’m a gay male but I really wish ppl would stop spreading this bs about how some can’t spread STD’s. More ppl need to see this.
