What is a he/him or tboy or transmasc lesbian, how does that work? Doesn’t that kinda invalidate the male identity?

pronouns ≠ gender, pronouns are *one component* of gender expression. a lesbian using he/him pronouns isn’t “invalidating the male identity” (lmfao) anymore than a lesbian that wears buttonups or uses a strap.

I’m not trying to be mean or anything I’m just confused, but how does that work? Idk how to phrase my exact question properly but wouldn’t using he/him pronouns make someone male or transmasc?

Transmasc doesnt mean man. Im transmasc but im not and dont wish to be a man. I feel more connected to womanhood via lesbianism than manhood

So why be transmasc? Wouldn’t nonbinary be a more representative label?

I understand how you might be confused: transmasc just means that the person has transitioned to favor a more masculine identity, this includes both trans men and nonbinary people since some nonbinary people are afab (transmasc), if they were amab they would be transfem. I hope this makes more sense

Ohhh ok, I think I’m understanding some parts. The nonbinary and actual trans masc I can understand, but what about trans men that identify as men?

Lesbian is a very broad umbrella term that is more of an identity than just “homosexual woman”. It’s a way of being attracted to women, it’s a recognition of the objectification that comes with straight male attraction and a rejection of it that not only women can do
