Also: fighting fascism doesn’t start or end with voting. Voting is the bare minimum, smallest portion of your civic duty. Get out there and protest, organize, build communities, spread reputable news, volunteer, etc. You accuse people who didn’t vote for Harris to be on a high horse. Kamala Harris lost the election because she decided she’d rather alienate most of her voting base instead of adopting the progressive policies they had been yelling at her to do. Yea but my point is that the ship would still be sinking with a Democrat at the helm. It’s just sinking a lot faster cause of Trump. You would still have to protest the government if Harris was in office because she also would’ve done some evil fucking shit. I can’t blame people for getting sick of “voting for the lesser of two evils.” If your democracy fails when one out of two candidates wins an election, you never had a democracy. I do agree that the severity of this evil would’ve been mitigated with Harris. But you know what a lot of ppl would’ve done if Harris was elected? Nothing. No organizing, no protesting, nothing. I’ve never heard Alex Jones describe Harris as a fascist. I never advocated for throwing ppl under the bus, nor did I justify Trump as a better choice. I just wanted to highlight that the only way out is by uniting against Democrats and Republicans and FORCING them to bend to our will, by any means necessary.
