My hot take is that heated rivalry was meant to cater more towards women than gay men. It’s overly exaggerated and literally resorts mlm relationships to just sexual exploration. I wish to see shows that show more of the struggle gay men face (1/2)
Especially in low income areas, religious trauma, social exclusion within families, and also showing how being a POC man can affect one’s journey, not just jocks exploring themselves through bussy, sorry not sorry. -a gay man

is it a hot take if someone posts it four times a day

This is a fun, popcorn show. We don’t need struggles all the time.

The books are significantly worse than the tv show (started the series didn’t finish). The woman who wrote the books clearly had a fetish for queer men

You’re right and you should say it

Let’s keep it a stack, if it was a gay black man or a gay indigenous man the show would have flopped

well that is a struggle had in the show. with Ilya’s character, who is Russian and was born and raised in Russia. he had to deal with when he came out that he could never return to his home country and give that up for Shane
