If you're not a lesbian, why do you care so much about whether or not trans dudes consider themselves lesbian?? Also, no trans guys want to be "wlw" because they. aren't. women. Wlw is just a subsection of lesbianism, and the lesbian community has a deep history of accepting transmasc lesbians. - a cis lesbian

THANK U BRO! Like the REASON trans men have a “deep history with the lesbian community” is that trans men had literally 0 visibility and often times just presented as butch lesbians because it was so unheard of at the time and un accepted. Culture evolves and now we are in a modern day and age where we can understand that trans men are men and deserve to be treated as such.

With so much love, trans men are men, lesbians are not attracted to men, nor are they men. Trans men labeling themselves as lesbians either delegitimizes the fact that trans men are men, OR it reinforces the very harmful stereotype that deep down all lesbians are at least slightly attracted to men.
