Maybe it’s regional, because I feel like in my area sapphic is definitely not widely known outside of the queer community

Lesbian is seen as a bad word in alot of queer spaces compared to sapphic. I constantly see people refer to lesbian events and bars as “sapphic” bars which is bs.

This isn’t about trying to call strictly lesbian things sapphic, which is bad, I just want more sapphic community and events etc because I’m bi, it’s a term that people usually only know about online
