Fish. It just feels very misogynistic and I feel self conscious of my vagina’s smell. I know the term has ballroom roots and I think the roots are misogynistic since it was basically saying you pass so well I can smell your vagina (I know fish is usually used for trans women but the times it has been used for me have made me deeply uncomfortable)

We do not like to be called being the same as trans girls. We are not and it permits unfair treatment in athletics

I totally understand that.. I’m not in sports. I think that women come in different shapes, sizes, colors and bodies, and while trans women fit under that umbrella, we can’t ignore biology. I cannot get a period, I have XY chromosomes, and if cis women athletes are respectfully expressing why trans women shouldn’t compete in sports with them, I respect that.

I completely agree… and I think that term is incredibly disrespectful to cis women and people with vaginas. If I expect cis women to not shame/fetishize my genitals, then I should absolutely not do the same to them. While on the topic, I strongly dislike the term “platinum gay”- because it’s disrespecting the person and the organ that gave you life, and literally birthed you. That’s incredibly misogynistic.

Please don’t say that. I want to make this post a safe space for cis women to express their boundaries. I’m really tired of seeing trans women and women fight each other, when we should be supporting each other. I hate how we keep accusing each other of misogyny and transphobia but nobody talks about the real enemy (MEN) who have set that system up. If I want women to accept me in their space, I need to listen to their boundaries.
