She ABSOLUTELY does not speak for us. I’m a bisexual proudly dating (and likely marrying) a butch lesbian and her take (specifically about “the real thing” when discussing mascs/studs/butches) is just gross.

Im confused as to what you’re trying to say here, could you explain your argument more? Because I understand that some lesbians need to unpack their internalized misogyny, but what does that have to do with the video?

bisexuals arent unpure for dating or liking men. there are just some who are inconsiderate towards how it feels to being the placeholder

Yeah and the assumption that a woman is a placeholder for bisexuals who secretly are only attracted to men stems from bi-misogyny and the idea that most women will settle down with a man “eventually”. I’m not saying your concerns are invalid but i am saying a lot of lesbians concern with bi women is a small step away from bi misogyny, same with paris being lesbophobic in the video. Idk be careful about sapphic women infighting ig you’re both soldiers in the same war against the cishetpatriarchy

i say this as some bisexuals because i know its not a whole. but also every girl ive ever dated who is bisexual has treated me the way paris is describing, someone to use not someone to love. it makes me feel seen seeing people finally understand what i mean when i say im wary. i never said im against bi girls, or that theyre inpure. I said im a little more cautious because of past experiences, ones people use to call me biphobic like it's not a literal lived experience.

Its just. A lot of the concern about bi women is conflated to be every single one or even “most” bisexual women when thats not the case. I feel like it’s important to minimize infighting here and often times when you say general concerns with a group people feel invited to say thats everyone. Think I’m just tone policing tbh

I think she was just addressing how paris & queer women with this type of internalized misogyny and homophobia *do* put other queer women in this place holder, not that all bi women do that or that its inherent to bi women since that generalization is correctly called biphobic in the video

literally this, i used the word some in capitalization to make it clear i know its not everyone. its not a community as a whole, and i know that. but it's also hard to not be wary when bisexuals have treated me like this(and SO many of her comments is bi girls agreeing) im called biphobic for saying many bi girls have treated me like a placeholder, and that it makes me wary cuz i dont ever want to be put in that place again. yet now im being finally seen for what i mean because of paris
