i’m just so done trying to talk about transfem issues with transmascs because nine times out of ten they me with the “well as a trans man…” and then make it about themselves. it always gives “what about the male loneliness epidemic??”

it depends on the situation since many transfem issues are mirrored by transmasc ones, and since they’re not transfem they can only relate through their experiences. relating to you through an analogous experience has the same intent as another trans fem relating through her own experience. that’s just adding to the conversation, it doesn’t take away anything.

if you mean a situation where they compare and say theirs is worse or they refuse to acknowledge your own situation, then yeah that’s weird. but people relate to others through their own experiences, it’s how conversations work
