Anyone else jealous of the lucky bastards who got a name they felt comfortable with keeping even after becoming who they really are? Like Cameron as a name just casually having the same name as a man or a woman

Kinda but in the sense that i truly could not think of a better name for myself or a name that I resonate more with then the one i happened to be given at birth and if i couldn’t have my current name my second pick happens to be my last name

I have a kid and I made it a point to give them a name that wouldn't out them if they decided to change it, and sometimes people still have to disclose their birth name after it's been changed

Im one of those bastards i think (my name is foreign-sounding enough to be genderless) but i have too much gendered memory attached to it from home to continue to use it or any nickname based off of it

I think that at first, but then I think they might have some trauma with that name, or the people who gave it to them, and want a clean start
