I went through the same thing recently, I hid it for a year and half bc of feeling so guilty and like I was a faker or something. But gender and sexuality is a long journey that looks different for everyone, and what seems like a misstep was really a necessary part to make you the person you are today. So as someone in the same position it’s hard and I still feel bad about it some times but, it will feel so much better to live your truth and be embraced by the ones you love for it
