Wdym? I'm talking about how a lot of people got interested in hockey after watching Heated Rivalry. I woke up and people are sick of hockey cause of something that happened in the Olympics I didn’t know about. I'm not defending the NHL or whoever was on the men’s team, I was just confused

I’m saying that if you were giving hockey goodwill because of the show then you are easily won over because hockey guys have a reputation already. It would be like giving serial killers goodwill because you liked Dexter

I’m not disagreeing with you that there a lot of toxic hockey players, but I feel it’s a bit unfair to write off all sports or say people are easily won over for taking an interest in them

theres a long history of rapists being protected in hockey I'm not saying all players are horrible people but there's a very bad culture within it

I’m saying giving them goodwill because someone in a show plays hockey and sucks dick is naïve and you are easily won over if that’s all it took for you to forget about the actual culture especially considering they made an appearance in the SOTU
