It can be a form of misgendering, degendering specifically. My pronouns are she/they and others almost always default to “they/them” exclusively even when I have preference for “she/her”. Occasionally happens even if I only introduce “she/her”, but less often.

just ask people to use she for you more. a lot of ppl default to they for anyone that isn't cis, because they think the she/he shit goes away. just explain you use both!
