Lots of trans women have to unlearn misogyny but they think theyre immune to it because they’re transitioning: which they arent. We all have biases we need to unlearn and im tired of pretending like we all dont have unlearning to do

I feel like there’s a sharp contrast in general when it comes to some opinions that trans folks who are extremely online have vs trans folks who aren’t (and this applies to broader queer people but still)

It’s worrying. Just bc someone isn’t afraid to say something online.. doesn’t mean they don’t firmly believe what they are saying. I think it just means they know it would be an unpopular opinion and need an echo chamber to fuel their hatred and misogyny
