Because they don’t owe you your idea of femininity and masculinity. There are myriad ways to be both, blend them, or avoid them. Not everyone is safe to come out in all areas of their life and transitioning is different for everyone. It’s not difficult.
I'm just not sure I'll ever be woke enough to understand "trans people don't owe you femininity/masculinity" like yeah sure but genuinely what does it mean to identify as a man if you're born female and are hyperfeminine and aren't even friends with men?

Yeah so if you're out and telling everyone that you're a trans man and posting about it and your family knows then you literally are safe or the fact that you're not safe is a non issue for you and literally not relevant to the conversation being had

You don’t know someone’s situation. Transitioning is not easy nor is it an overnight process. Even with just social transition. And there’s nothing wrong with being a feminine trans man or a masculine trans woman. Identity exploration is a thing. It doesn’t harm you or anyone else to be kind and just accept you don’t know everyone’s situations.
