A lot of times subsections of queer groups (such as lesbians) feels like a community and when trans mascs/men come out as trans, they don’t want to leave that feeling of community behind, so they continue to identify as a lesbian because community is often hard to find and staying where you feel comfortable is safe, I hope that makes sense?

But that is invalidating lesbians since that identity means you have to be a woman, AND it is invalidating the trans man bc it’s saying he’s not a man. So no. You cannot be a trans man and a lesbian. That is an oxymoron.
